Sorry Ruth Lorenzo – when X-factor, as a institution, make a show of / claim to be the venue where ONLY the best VOICE will win
- This recent saturday night’s show has paraded otherwise.
Ruth IS THE BEST (have the most power – and beautiful voice) and should have won, at least second to Alexandra..

It should be remembered that the “X-Factor” is a popularity competition, and not a talent show. Ruth clearly gave the best performance on the night (including the over-hyped britney!) and should have stayed. Everyone else, apart from Alexandra, gave mediocre performances at best – surprising considering what’s at stake. I can’t wait for Ruth’s first album to come out.

It’s obvious. Never let the general public have the final say. Simon Cowell said time and again that this a SINGING contest. Well, one of 2 best singers was voted off by the public, who obviously don’t know what a good singer is.
Now we have a semi final with JLS (can’t sing in tune) and Eggnog in it. I don’t know what is going on. Even Louis Walsh had tears in his eyes last night when Ruth was voted off.

Now that all the best singers have left the competition the x factor is no longer worth watching. Surely the present voting system just does not work where it is more important where you are from and the support generated in that area than how good a singer you are. It is unfortunate that the huge sums of money generated by the phone votes govern the system used to determine the winner.

Ruth should have been the second winner in this contest. Diana doesn’t have anything else to offer, she sings the same way and her hand should be chopped off!!! Can’t stand her hand near her face when she sings!
Ruth was rock, pure rock voice and different in each performance. She could sing anything and make it really cool.
It is unfair that Ruth and Laura were voted off. X Factor is not a talent show, it is just stupid show that doesn’t show sometimes who the best winner is. Although with Leona Lewis they did really good.
The good thing is that Ruth being in the Best 5 ones, she is gonna be able to have her own recording contract and get a proper album and if she is intelligent, she will get pretty far.
Let’s see!! Ruth cheer up and fight for what you want.

It was sad to see Ruth go out of X factor last Saturday. But as she said in your own words: “It’s just the beginning of her dream”. I love her fighting spirit and i know that God will see you through success if she keeps on knocking on Heaven’s door. Ruth Follow your dream and keep on rocking gal! God Bless You! ***

I have no idea what happened last saturday. I mean has the british public gone mad or insane. I was hoping since the boot camp finshied that I will see in the Final show RUTH and ALEXNDRA. The remaining contestants have nothing to offer. “Purple Rain”, song I never was the biggest fun of, since Ruth’s performance I can’t stop listenning to it.
Competition should go on but only between Ruth and Alex even though they became close friends.
I hope that Ruth saying:”It’s not the end, it just the beginning” really ment that adn soon we”l be able to buy her albums.
I’ll be missing you on TV but will never forget you.

Ruth is the best singer I have EVER seen on a reality TV show.
In my humble opinion she is up there with Celine and Maria.
She is the only act ever, on X Factor, who’s CD I would buy immediately.
I think the public, and the panel of judges, have missed a huge opportunity and Simon Cowell’s ‘patriotic’ remarks about being proud to be British because he thought Alexandra was so good were outrageous.
It doesn’t matter what country you come from if you can sing and Ruth can out-sing ‘em all.
Good luck in the future Ruth. I’ll be looking out for your first recordings.

Come on guys be honest. Ruth. She’s a bit of a big head no? I bet before she went in the X-Factor she wasn’t la-di-dahing around your local carphone warehouse acting like she’s the iphone or somefink. now she’s been on TV she’s sooooooo monthly contract. I saw her in there the other day sneering at we pay-as-you-goers. Ruth, mon cherie we are the very people that catapaulted you to the dizzy heights of X Factor’s uk’s fifth-best singer 2008. Please remember your roots ruth.
